The people you meet when we work together
nabogo was founded on a simple belief: Carpooling should be as easy and predictable as taking the bus.
nabogo was founded near Vejle, Denmark, to solve one concrete problem: the bus was gone, and people were left without real transport.
Launched for the first time in the village of Smidstrup outside Vejle, September 2019.
Three regions and a long list of municipalities come on board. Carpooling becomes a public tool, not a hobby.
The Netherlands, Norway and Sweden join. Today we run the broadest carpooling network in Northern Europe, documented by Mobycon and DTU.
Large employers join: LEGO and Novo Nordisk in Denmark, the Port of Rotterdam and the oil industry in Forus and Stavanger — on the same platform as the municipalities.
Carpooling does not start in an app but in the car park, the canteen and at the school entrance. So we run an event team in each country, with locally employed junior event specialists attached to our offices in Denmark (Aalborg, Vejle, Odense and Copenhagen), Norway (Bergen and Oslo/Hamar) and the Netherlands.
